City of DeLand Holiday Lighting Contest

The City of DeLand is excited to hold its second annual holiday lighting!

The rules are simple: decorate your house for the holidays and share your address with us. We'll add you to our Google Map so people can take a look at your lights.

The winner of our contest, determined by our holiday committee, will receive a gift card to Ace Hardware of DeLand who is sponsoring this year's contest. 

CONTEST RULES

  • By entering the contest, you are agreeing to allow your address to be on a map which will be shared on social media for the community to view Christmas lights in the area.
  • Decorations must be visible from the roadway.
  • Only properties within the city limits are eligible for judging.
  • If your address does not reside within the city limits, your address will be posted on the public map for community viewing but will not be eligible for judging.
  • The last day to submit an online entry form is Monday, December 9, 2024.
  • Decorations for the contest must be available and lit up December 13-23 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. for judging.
  • Contest winners will be notified after December 23.
